This book was told in multiple points of view using duet narration, where the person doing the narration did all the voices in the chapter that is told from that persons point of view. However, after meeting Rylee and talking her into helping them, the emotions have not bothered them as much. The bond between Drace and Lucien has them feeling each other’s emotions which has irritated them since they were accidentally bonded when they were young. Lucien attended University and had a proper education while Drace was raised in the swamps of yerbec, they feel they are totally incompatible especially because neither of them is a beta.
